Ghanaian musician Ama Nova has expressed dissatisfaction with Fameye over his failure to promote their newly-released song “Odo Different.”

In an interview with Hitz FM on February 5, 2025, Ama Nova disclosed that she paid Fameye for both a music video and the promotion of their song, however, Fameye has since not fulfilled his part of the agreement.

“It wasn’t a free verse with Fameye; I paid for it. There was no written contract, but we had conversations and WhatsApp chats. Additionally, there are receipts showing how the money was paid into his account. There’s also a voice note where he says that if I pay the money, we would be able to shoot content together in New York,” she explained.

She continued, “I didn’t want to speak on this, but it triggers me every time I do. It would’ve been nice for him to at least post the artwork for the music, but he hasn’t done that. We agreed on an amount for him to shoot the music video, and I made payments in dollars.”

Ama Nova also shared her frustration with what she termed as lack of communication, adding that all attempts to meet with Fameye and his management have proven futile.

“I’ve been trying to set up a meeting with him, but his manager keeps making excuses. Recently, he told me I didn’t need a meeting and that I should just send my marketing plan. Meanwhile, they haven’t even posted the artwork. He also told me that Fameye only does music videos when he decides to collaborate with an artist,” she added.
