    Afro-Dancehall artiste Aticle Wan ha laid bare some of the tedious challenges he battles as an independent artiste.

    Speaking on 3music TV, the artiste said, working without a label has both the downside and the upside.

    Article Wan explained that without a label, he has to do everything all by himself, which sometimes results in him being late for interviews and other things.

    However, on the bright side, he gets to control and manage things himself.

    Article Wan also added that when the time comes and he can employ people to work for him, he will, but for now, he does everything by himself.

    “When I get to the point where you can employ a lot of people to do what you want them to do for you and you can pay them well, when it’s that time you just have to do it. When it’s not that time, do what you can do,” he maintained.

    He added, “Trust me I know a lot of artiste who are under labels, the labels are spending on them like crazily but when they see me they ask me Article how do you do it? They are driving the range rovers but when they see us in our cars, they do the comparison because they depend solely on the labels.”
