Arsenal fans were full of praise for Thomas Partey following his superb performance in the Gunners’ draw against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

The fans expressed their love for the midfielder after he put in a great shift and stopped Liverpool’s Luis Diaz while playing as a right-back in the 2-2 draw.

Some fans believe the Ghanaian’s performance proved that he is the most versatile player in the squad. A few, on the other hand, opined that Partey is making a case for a contract renewal as his deal runs out in the summer of 2025.

Partey ended the game with the most duels won – 13, most tackles won – 4, and most Arsenal touches – 79.

The 31-year-old has received plaudits after his sensational performance, keeping Liverpool’s in-form attacker Luis Diaz at bay.

Arsenal, following the draw, have dropped to third position with 18 points, trailing league-leading Manchester City by 5 points.

Uncle Partey, you deserve your own post. What an incredible performance.

He was forced to play out of position against one of the best attacks in the league and he stood up like I’ve never seen before.

I loved it. Thank you Uncle. pic.twitter.com/wwRCjsNKt6
