Historic triumph in Aschersleben: The young Berlin boxer defeats Amijan Sepic by ninth-round technical knockout, becoming the youngest German titleholder in the history of professional boxing.

Berlin/Aschersleben, October 11, 2026. At just 16 years old, German professional boxer Arminius Rolle made boxing history on Saturday night. At the SES Boxing event in the sold-out Ballhaus Arena in Aschersleben, he defeated 22-year-old Bosnian fighter Amijan Sepic by technical knockout in the ninth round, capturing the International German Championship of the Bund Deutscher Berufsboxer (BDB) in the super lightweight division.

With this victory, Rolle reaches a historic milestone, becoming the youngest German titleholder in the history of professional boxing.

Competing in his first scheduled ten-round championship bout, the young fighter from Berlin demonstrated not only his boxing skills but also impressive stamina and determination. After knocking his opponent down in the eighth round, Rolle scored two more knockdowns in the ninth before the referee stopped the contest.

Seven professional fights, seven victories, six by stoppage: An impressive record for the young German, who had already won two Junior World Championships in Chessboxing in 2023 and 2024.

Arminius is trained by his father, Robert Rolle, a former professional boxer. Alongside his professional boxing career, the 16-year-old continues his education at a German academic high school and plans to study medicine after graduation.
