A Bay Area archbishop took a swing at Elon Musk for having 13 children by four women.
Salvatore Cordileone went viral after he offered some relationship advice to Musk, 53, after the Tesla CEO claimed his biggest joy in life is his children.
‘This is lovely. But marry first and love your babies’ mom too,’ the Catholic leader wrote on X earlier this month.
Musk has only married one of the mothers of his children, his first wife Justine Musk, with whom he shares 5 kids. He also shared three children with Canadian singer Grimes and three with NeuraLink executive Shivon Zilis.
Cordileone’s comments have re-emerged after right-wing influencer Ashley St Clair claimed she welcomed a child with Musk last year.
Musk has not denied or confirmed the 26-year-old’s claim, but issued a one-word response on X on Saturday evening, writing simply: ‘Whoa.’
One of Musk’s fans defended him against Cordileone’s post, writing: ‘Yes that’s true for regular people BUT for someone like Musk.
‘His mission on earth is to Help humanity.

But Cordileone said he does not think Musk’s mission means that less should be expected of him.
‘We can thank him for his public service and still remind ourselves that marriage matters,’ Cordileone wrote.
St Clair announced the baby in a post on the evening of Valentine’s day – apparently after Musk ‘ghosted’ her on the romantic holiday, as reported by DailyMail.com.
The livid young conservative influencer put Musk on blast on Friday, publicly posting at him on X saying she had been ‘trying to communicate for the past several days and you have not responded.’
Musk was pictured on Thursday with another woman, mother of three of his children Shivon Zilis, who he brought with their offspring to a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
St. Clair told the world that she had Musk’s baby in a shock post the following day, on the evening of Valentine’s Day, claiming that she had been forced to reveal her secret due to ‘tabloid media’ probing her personal life.
Cordileone, the Bay Area’s highest-ranking Catholic, is an opponent of same-sex marriage and abortion in line with his church’s teaching.
Back in 2022, he made headlines when he banned former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi from receiving communion over her pro-choice stance.

Cordileone, however, has made some morally questionable decisions himself which have sparked outrage amongst members of the Catholic faith.
The minister was arrested and jailed on a drunk driving charge in August 2012 shortly after having been appointed as archbishop. He later joked about the arrest.
He also came under fire in 2021 when he refused to release an official list of clergy who were ‘credibly’ accused of child sexual abuse.
He also filed a motion, along with other California bishops, asking a judge to throw out a 2019 law that allowed accusers of clergy sexual abuse to sue even if they were molested decades ago.
