Ghanaian entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has expressed disappointment in Apostle Solomon Oduro following his decision to publicly announce his split from his wife, Rev. Charlotte Oduro.

Speaking on United Showbiz on February 15, 2025, Arnold shared his views on the divorce, stating that even if the couple decided to make their split public, they could have issued a joint press statement.

He believes that the statement released by the Apostle was a deliberate move aimed at tarnishing the reputation of his wife.

“There are a lot of public figures who have gone through divorce without our knowledge. I have the strongest conviction that the Apostle had an ulterior motive for putting out that press statement. He had an ill intention. Until this incident, I didn’t even know what Apostle was or what he looked like. So, this was supposed to hurt the woman and make her look bad,” he said.

Arnold further criticised the Apostle’s amended divorce petition, claiming it was strategically worded to damage Rev. Charlotte Oduro’s image.

“If you look at Apostle’s amended petition, you could see it was well-calculated. In the petition, he created an impression that Charlotte Oduro was having an affair with other men. The second thing he said was unreasonable behaviour,” he added.
