Ghanaian music sensation King Paluta has extended heartfelt congratulations to King Promise, who was crowned Artiste of the Year at the 26th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Paluta celebrated the win with a message full of pride and brotherhood:
“Congratulation to Big Greg @IamKingPromise! Apicki!”

King Paluta, who also had a triumphant night at the event, added a note of gratitude to his fans and homeland:
“From the corners of Kumasi to the world. Thank you Ghana, thank you to the fans. 3 awards bagged last night @ghmusicawards. Most Popular Song, Highlife Song and Producer of the Year. Forever grateful… Forever!”

King Promise’s victory comes after a strong year of chart-topping hits, acclaimed performances, and consistent fan engagement. The “Terminator” singer, known for his seamless blend of afrobeats and highlife, edged out fierce competition to clinch the night’s top honour.

Meanwhile, King Paluta himself emerged as one of the evening’s breakout stars, collecting three major awards, further cementing his rise from Kumasi’s vibrant underground rap scene to the national spotlight.

The mutual celebration between the two artistes reflects a growing culture of camaraderie in Ghana’s music industry, a sign that the next era of hitmakers may be more united than ever.

Both King Promise and King Paluta left the Grand Arena not just with awards, but with the hearts of Ghanaians rooting for their continued success.
