Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has started a new conversation that seeks to call for positive discussions in the Ghanaian music space with a message he shared on his official Facebook page on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

The Shatta Movement boss who is mostly seen and described as controversial on his post urge fans, media personalities, and fellow artistes to stop comparing musicians and to focus on unity in the industry.

The ShattaFest 2025 headliner wrote as part of his post seen by zionfelix.net: “Any artiste in Ghana can also do what I did at the Independence Square with discipline and hard work. Please let us stop comparing us the artistes, me am tired of this time-wasting statements. I only came to show every youth the road and that, ‘Impossible go turn possible.’”

He went on to appeal to media houses, bloggers, presenters, pundits, and fans to help change the narrativessurrounding Ghana’s entertainment industry.

Shatta Wale added that it was time for everyone in the creative space to learn from each other and move forward with focus, stressing that the world is watching how Ghanaian artistes conduct themselves.

His message ended with a call for mutual respect and discipline among industry stakeholders.

Following his post, fans and colleagues alike have been commending him for choosing peace and leadership over rivalry.

Many have described his message as one of maturity and inspiration, especially following the massive success of his ShattaFest 2025, which drew record-breaking crowds at the Independence Square.

Interestingly, Shatta Wale’s call for unity came just hours after he and his team, including his Public Relations Officer Sammy Flex and rapper Medikal, paid a visit to the CEO of Charterhouse, the organizers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

The visit was aimed at expressing gratitude for Charterhouse’s support during ShattaFest 2025 and, more importantly, to reconcile with them after years of tension.
