Ghana international Antoine Semenyo is facing renewed emotional and psychological strain following another incident of racial abuse online, raising concerns about the impact on his well-being despite his strong performances on the pitch.

The forward, who has been in fine form in the Premier League, recently expressed frustration after receiving racist messages on social media, posting “It’s started again…” in reaction. The remark reflects a growing sense of fatigue, as this is the second such incident he has endured this season.

Sources close to the player suggest that repeated abuse is beginning to take a toll, not only affecting his post-match experience but also his interaction with fans online. Instead of celebrating performances, Semenyo is increasingly forced to confront discriminatory attacks, which can be mentally exhausting.

While the 26-year-old continues to show resilience and professionalism, concerns remain about the long-term psychological effects of such incidents, particularly as he balances club commitments with national team duties.

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching, maintaining focus and confidence will be crucial, as Semenyo remains a key figure for both club and country.
