Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has started pre-season with AFC Bournemouth ahead of the upcoming season.

The 25-year-old joined his teammates on Monday July 7, 2025, as Andoni Iraola’s men began preparations for the 2025/26 campaign.

Semenyo and his teammates took part in gym exercises and later football drills on the first day of pre-season, with most of the players reporting.

The English-born forward signed a new deal with the Cherries last week to extend his stay at Vitality Park until the summer of 2030.

Despite interest from several clubs including Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspurs, Semenyo decided to continue his career at the south coast.

“I’ve grown so much at the club, both on and off the pitch, and I’m really happy to have signed ahead of returning for pre-season,” he said.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth will play a series of pre-season friendlies, including a tour of the United States, before the season starts in August.
