Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo expressed frustration after his team’s 2-2 draw with West Ham United at the London Stadium.
Despite dominating the game, the Cherries missed out on a win, which Semenyo found particularly disappointing.
“It’s definitely frustrating,” Semenyo said in a post-game interview. “We came here with an objective to win. We dominated the game. It’s just frustrating.”
Semenyo acknowledged that Bournemouth is going through a tough period, having won only one of their last eight games in all competitions. However, he emphasized the importance of picking themselves up and moving forward.
“A point is better than no point,” he added. “We can build on that going into next week’s game.”
With European qualification slipping out of reach, Semenyo stressed the team’s determination to keep pushing forward. “We’re still pushing for European football. We need to pick ourselves up as a team and keep going.”
