English-born Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo returned to the scoresheet as Manchester City cruised to a 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace in an outstanding English Premier League match-week 31 fixture at the Etihad Stadium.
The 26-year-old opened the scoring in the 32nd minute to give the Cityzens the lead before Omar Marmoush doubled the advantage eight minutes later to hand the hosts a comfortable 2-0 lead at half-time.
Brazilian international Savinho then wrapped up the victory with six minutes remaining to ensure Manchester City secured all three points in dominant fashion. The Sky Blues have now closed the gap on Arsenal with two games to play and are very hopeful of winning the title.
For Semenyo, the goal marked an important return to scoring form after going six matches without a goal. It was also his first Premier League goal since netting against Nottingham Forest in early March.
He had earlier scored against Liverpool FC in the FA Cup last month and now continues to enjoy an impressive campaign in England.
Antoine Semenyo has now been directly involved in 20 Premier League goals this season, scoring 16 goals and providing four assists in 35 appearances.
The lanky forward is widely expected to be included in Black Stars squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup as he is currently the most in-form Ghanaian player undoubtedly
