Ghana attacker Antoine Semenyo registered his 15th Premier League goal of the season on Wednesday night as Manchester City slipped in the 2025/26 title race.
The Sky Blues shared the spoils in a 2-2 drawn game with Nottingham Forest at the Etihad Stadium – a result that has helped Arsenal to open a 7-point gap at the summit of the table.
Semenyo, 26, smashed home a cross from Rayan Cherki just at the half-hour mark to register the opening goal for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Forest levelled the scoring after the break through Morgan Gibbs-White 10 minutes after the interval.
Former Ballon O’dor winner Rodri restored the lead for the 10-time league winners however English-born Ghanaian attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi was the provider as Elliot Anderson pecked the scoring to dent City’s chances.
Semenyo has netted 5 goals in the league since joining City from Bournemouth where he had already scored 10 goals.
