British heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has shared an image with his family upon his arrival in England, in a social media post.

The post, made on X on January 4, 2025, with the caption “My brother’s keeper,” features the boxer’s family.

In one of the frames, he is seated in the middle of four women, three of whom are dressed in black attire with sober expressions, while Joshua maintains a calm composure.

In another frame, the boxing champion poses with a man, raising one finger to make a signal.

Joshua was discharged from a Nigerian hospital to continue his recovery in England after sustaining minor injuries in the accident.

Anthony Joshua’s coach and close friend among accident fatalities – Reports

Many people took to the comments section to thank God for his life and to express condolences for the loss of his two close friends.

Joshua’s driver, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, who was behind the wheel of the SUV, was discharged after denying dangerous driving allegations, though he admitted he did not possess a valid driving license.

The fatal accident occurred on a busy highway in Makun, just hours after Joshua and his associates had reportedly spent time playing tennis together.

Reports indicate that the vehicle he was traveling in collided with a stationary truck, an incident that tragically claimed the lives of two people. Joshua reportedly sustained minor injuries.

Joshua’s two friends, Kevin Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami, were confirmed dead after succumbing to injuries sustained in the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
