The Black Stars of Ghana visit the Black Antelopes of Angola in what promises to be an epic matchday five of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana need a win to salvage their chances of qualifying for the 2025 AFCON after a poor run in the series so far.

Meanwhile, Angola have already booked their ticket for the African flagship competition following their 100 percent record in the qualifiers.

The two sides have met five times since 2009, with Angola winning only one. Ghana has won two and drawn two of those match-ups.

Despite having a good record against Angola, the Black Stars are on a terrible run of form, winning only one of their last five games and losing two.

The Black Leopards, on the other hand, have won all of their last five games, with their last defeat dating back to March 2024 when they lost 1-0 to Morocco in a friendly.

The Black Stars, who lie at the bottom of the group with just 2 points, will miss out on the AFCON for the first time since 2004 if they fail to beat Angola.
