Anatu Anne Seidu Bogobiri has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) by President John Dramani Mahama. With over 26 years of experience as a seasoned lawyer, Madam Bogobiri brings a wealth of expertise to her new role.

Her career began at the Value Added Tax (VAT) Service, where she rose through the ranks to serve in the Legal Department of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA). Beyond her legal expertise, Madam Bogobiri has gained practical experience in people management and democratic processes.

Some of her notable roles include:

– *Executive Director of the African Electoral Institute (AEI)*: She has gained practical electoral experience and has been involved in people management.

– *Divisional Union Vice Chairperson of the Public Services Workers Union (PSWU)*: She has held leadership roles in organized labor.

– *Women’s Commissioner of the Law Society of Ghana (LSG)*: She is a prominent member of the LSG and has held various positions, including Treasurer and Media Liaison of Lawyers in Search of Democracy (LINSOD).

Her appointment to the NHIA is expected to bring leadership, expertise, and dedication to advancing Ghana’s national health insurance agenda.
