Prince Amoako Junior has been named in Ghana’s squad for the upcoming international friendly against Mexico, following an outstanding season with FC Nordsjælland.
The forward has been in electric form, registering eight goals and five assists across all competitions, earning him a well-deserved call-up to the Black Stars.
Also included in the squad is Francis Amuzu, whose selection is expected to spark debate among fans. The former Belgium U21 international had previously made comments suggesting reluctance to represent Ghana, making his inclusion a notable development.
Amuzu, who currently plays for Grêmio, has been in fine form this season, contributing seven goals and five assists in all competitions. He is now in line to make his first senior appearance for Ghana.
The duo’s inclusion adds fresh attacking options for the Black Stars as preparations continue for upcoming fixtures, including the high-profile clash against Mexico.
