Ghanaian actress Priscilla Opoku Agyeman, widely known as Ahoufe Patri, has shared her experience with sex-for-roles propositions early in her acting career.
Speaking in an interview on Max TV, she revealed that the issue extends beyond the movie industry, affecting various professions.
“The issue of sex for roles is widespread, not just in entertainment. When I was about 19, I met a producer interested in my talent, but he insisted on getting to know me personally first,” she disclosed.
At the time, she was still navigating her way in the industry but was unwilling to compromise her values.

“I had a boyfriend whom I deeply loved, and I couldn’t imagine doing something like that with another man. The producer got upset,” she recalled.
Years later, after she had gained fame as Ahoufe Patri, she unexpectedly encountered the same producer again.
“By then, he didn’t recognize me and even told me he was a big fan,” Ahoufe Patri disclosed.
