Angel Asiamah, husband of incarcerated evangelist Nana Agradaa, has revealed that her first heartfelt wish from prison is to seek forgiveness from three prominent Ghanaian leaders.

Speaking during a sermon at Heavenway Champion International Ministries on August 3, 2025, Asiamah recounted an emotional exchange during a recent visit to the Nsawam Female Prison, where his wife is serving a 15-year sentence.

“I remember visiting my wife at the Nsawam Prison. I asked her what she would say to the world if she were given just a minute.

“She said she would use that moment to apologise to three individuals: first, His Excellency President Mahama, second, Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, and third, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi.

“She would plead that God touches their hearts to forgive her,” he stated.

Known in private life as Patricia Asiedua, the former traditional priestess turned Christian evangelist was convicted on July 3, 2025, for defrauding the public by false pretence and for engaging in charlatanic advertisement. The charges stemmed from a controversial 2022 “money-doubling” scheme that convinced many churchgoers to part with large sums of cash in exchange for promised divine returns.

An Accra Circuit Court handed her a 15-year sentence with hard labour. She was moved to Nsawam two days after her conviction.

Despite her confinement, Agradaa hasn’t abandoned her spiritual mission. According to Asiamah, she has already begun preaching to fellow inmates and “winning souls for Christ” from within the prison walls.
