Akrobeto (L) says the imprisonment of Nana Agraada (R) is normal Akrobeto (L) says the imprisonment of Nana Agraada (R) is normal

Veteran Ghanaian actor and television presenter, Akwasi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto, has reacted to the conviction of controversial former fetish priestess, Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa.

In an interview with GhanaWeekend, the movie star was asked about Agradaa’s recent 15-year jail sentence for fraud and money-doubling schemes, to which the actor said the matter was out of his hands.

“As for her 15-year jail sentence, whatever I say won’t change the situation. It is between her and the government.

“If she’s released, fine. If not, she’s not the only person who has been jailed before; it’s normal,” he said.

Akrobeto publicly denied ever being married to Nana Agradaa, claiming it was merely a promotional stunt.

“I never had anything to do with Agradaa; she has never been my wife. Anything you saw was just publicity for a movie,” Akrobeto stated.

The comments come after a period of intense media speculation about their relationship, which often played out on entertainment news platforms.
