Following the fresh wave of terminations of some Ghanaian YouTube channels from the video sharing platform, musician Shatta Wale has dropped some messages on his X to suggest he had a hand it.

Around noon, on Wednesday December 10, 2025, popular creator Headless YouTuber, provided the list of affected personalities which included top celebrities such as Lilwin, whose channel reportedly had over 500,000 subscribers, and veteran comic actor Akrobeto.

Others who were allegedly affected include media personality DJ Slim, musicians Epixode and King Paluta, as well as creators like Benson the Creator and Made In Ghana.

Online discussions suggested that many of these terminations are linked to alleged AI-related infractions, while a few creators reportedly had their channels removed for streaming content involving certain betting companies without the getting the right copyright clearance.

Shatta Wale in his quest to comment on the issue bragged about having a software that he will use to get more channels deleted and warned that this was just the beginning.

    The posts he made read…

His comments immediately stirred reactions online, with many suggesting he was teasing or mocking affected creators.

DJ Slim, who is also among those whose channels have reportedly been taken down, fired back by writing: “Tell ur foolish dancehall artist to use his software to write Grammy award winning songs.”
