Ghanaian rapper Agbeko has shared a touching story about how he met his ex-girlfriend, a lady who was battling drug addiction at the time.

Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM on October 28, 2025, Agbeko stated that their paths crossed after one of his performances on Oxford Street, during an MTN show.

According to him, the meeting was purely by chance but it eventually led to a romantic relationship.

“It was through a female friend I met, after performing at a show at Oxford Street and it was an MTN show. Eventually, she became my girlfriend,” he said.

The rapper disclosed that his then-girlfriend was a UK-born lady who had been brought to Ghana by her father to help her recover from drug addiction.

“She was from UK and her father brought her to Ghana because of drug addiction. She was actually brought here to change, but unfortunately, it became worse, so she was sent back abroad,” he shared.

He added that after she returned to the United Kingdom, they lost contact, and he eventually moved on with his life.

“We lost contact and I moved on with my life,” he added.
