Ghanaian TikTok star and food content creator Afua Nash has finally responded to critics who doubted her viral claim that she spends about GHC5000 a day to maintain her lifestyle.

She made this reaction when Zionfelix caught up with her again during the opening of a new branch of Piza World in Accra.

In the interview, Afua Nash stood by her earlier statement and fired back at those who questioned her honesty.

According to her, only the poor will think it is not possible to spend that amount in a single day. She explained that after doing her own calculations, she even realized that she sometimes spends more than that amount on certain days.

Afua Nash further clarified that the GHC5000 she mentioned is everything inclusive and not just food or drinks. She explained that it covers all her daily expenses, including transportation, data, outfits, and other miscellaneous costs.

She also noted that there are days she steps out and ends up giving money to her fans who approach her, simply because of the love and support they show her.

At the same time, Afua Nash admitted that those who claim she is lying have every right to say so. She said she completely understands their disbelief because there was a time she also thought like them.

“There was a time I used to say I would never eat at a fancy restaurant because I couldn’t even get GHC100 a day. So I understand those who think I’m lying,” she stated and laughed.
