Ghanaian businessman Ibrahim Mahama has come to the aid of Suzzy Pinamang, a student of Bantama Adventist Senior High School in the Ashanti Region, who was shot in the eye.

According to reports, Suzzy was injured when fellow student Bernard Amoabeng brought his father’s gun to school and fired it. The incident allegedly occurred after Bernard, during an argument with mates, attempted to prove the gun was real by pulling the trigger, tragically hitting Pinamang in the eye.

Following the incident, members of the public appealed to Ibrahim Mahama for assistance.

Rafik Mahama, an aide to the businessman, confirmed that the plea reached them and prompted Ibrahim Mahama to offer support.

Speaking in a video captured by Zionfelix.net, Rafik noted that they have been handling numerous cases involving people in need, many of which remain out of the public eye.

He shared this update after Pinamang was flown to Accra for examination at a medical facility.

According to a specialist at the hospital, multiple surgeries will be required, although the final outcome cannot be guaranteed.

Despite the uncertainty, Suzzy’s brother, Clement, remains hopeful that the surgeries will be successful and that his sister will regain her sight.
