Following the recent finals of the well-known children’s talent competition Talented Kidz, there has been a lot of drama because the mother of finalist Diamond X Muzik has made grave accusations against the show’s administrators. In a furious tirade posted on social media, the disgruntled mother claimed that her son was denied a well-earned victory and accused the production crew of corruption and partiality.

She claims that despite having strong public support and putting up steady performances throughout the competition, Diamond X Muzik was disregarded in the final decision. She claimed that the show had already determined the winner before the finale ever aired, expressing shock at the result. The tearful mother continued by saying that connections and wealth had a greater impact on the outcome than skill and popular vote.

Fans and followers of the show have responded to her charges in a variety of ways, sparking extensive online discussions. Although some share her opinion and think the young performer was a serious candidate for the top honor, others think the final selection was a fair assessment of the performance as a whole.

The mother questioned the voting process’s transparency and demanded accountability from the organizers in her widely shared video. She asserted that attempts to contact them for clarification were disregarded. “We thought this platform was fair, so we put time, effort, and money into it, but now we feel deceived,” she said.

Throughout the season, Diamond X Muzik, who is renowned for his amazing stagecraft and musical variety, swiftly gained popularity among fans. He was an exceptional competitor right from the start because of his ability to control the stage and interact with the audience. Along with his mother, a large number of his fans are calling on the show’s creators to provide answers.

Although the Talented Kidz organizers have not yet responded to the accusations, the topic is still circulating and clouding what could have been a season filled with celebration.

As the discussion continues, many are demanding changes to the way these contests are conducted, arguing for increased openness to preserve public confidence and promote the real growth of Ghana’s youth talent.
