In a candid conversation with Akua Sika on Ayekooo, a show available on Happy TV’s YouTube channel, actress Vicky Zugah shared her thoughts on the irony of Africans being hesitant to discuss sex despite being active in the act.

According to Vicky, “Africans shy away from discussions on sex, but we have sex.” She pointed out that sex is a natural part of life, and it’s essential for procreation. “Having sex gives us the ability to give birth to children,” she emphasized.

Vicky questioned why Africans tend to avoid conversations about sex, despite its importance. “Don’t we need to learn the skills and discuss it openly?” she asked. “We practice sex, but we shy away from talking about it.”

Vicky advocated for sex education, stressing that it’s essential to address the topic openly. “Why don’t we educate ourselves and others about sex? We need to break the silence and have honest conversations about sex.”
