Ghanaian fashion icon Richard Brown, popularly known as Osebo the Zaraman, has shared his thoughts on the ongoing social media discussion about the right candidate to inherit the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.

In a discussion on OKAY FM shared on Instagram on October 8, 2025, Osebo the Zaraman noted that the late Kwadwo Safo Kantanka entrusted responsibilities to his first daughter, Adwoa Safo (former MP for Dome Kwabenya), hence she is the right person to oversee his properties.

He explained that Adwoa Safo is a determined individual, adding that her late father would strengthen her to manage affairs in his stead.

Family of Apostle Safo Kantanka cautions public against dealing with Kwadwo Safo Jnr

“Nothing bad will happen to his properties because 20 years ago, he publicly stated that he had made Adwoa Safo his successor, so he knew what she could do.

“If you know Adwoa, you will notice she is a determined person. I am also sure that the late Kantanka would strengthen her so nothing would go wrong,” he said.

Osebo the Zaraman further debunked rumours on social media that the family is divided.

According to Osebo, the purpose of the statement, which cautioned the public to refrain from engaging in any financial dealings with Kwadwo Safo Jnr, was solely to prevent future disputes within the family.

“Everything is okay in the family. Everyone is at peace with each other. The fact that we release a statement doesn’t mean we hate Safo Kantanka Jnr. He is still our brother.

“We may hate his attitude and something he is doing, but that doesn’t mean we hate him. The family didn’t want the public to make a mockery of him. They just wanted to set things straight,” he added.
