Gifty Dumelo, the wife of Ghanaian actor-turned-politician John Dumelo, has warmed hearts on social media after sharing beautiful family moments to mark her husband’s birthday.
John Dumelo, who is the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon and Deputy Minister of Agriculture, turned 42 on February 3, 2026.
To celebrate the special day, Gifty Dumelo took to Instagram to post a series of photos and videos capturing cherished moments with her husband and their three children. The post featured a mix of intimate family scenes from home, church, and other settings.
In the first slide, the couple posed lovingly with their children, all dressed in matching Christmas pyjamas. Other frames showed Dumelo bonding with his children in relaxed and joyful moments, highlighting his role as a devoted family man.
Accompanying the post was a heartfelt message in which Gifty described her husband as a “wonderful human being” and expressed deep gratitude for the life they have built together.
“On this day, many years ago, a wonderful human being was born. And that person was you. Together, we’ve created a home, a family, and a community. There’s no one I’d rather be building a life with than you,” she wrote.
She went on to wish the Ayawaso West Wuogon MP a happy birthday, expressing excitement about the future and the many memories yet to be created.
