Fresh details have emerged following reports of a police manhunt for Kumawood actress Patricia Osei Boateng, after the arrest of four suspects linked to the robbery and murder of Andrew Amankwa.

Recently, on February 26, 2026, GhanaWeb reported that the actress was declared wanted by the Police for her alleged involvement in the incident at Ohwim Tigo Junction in Kumasi.

In the latest development, Boateng, who is reportedly the wife of ‘Duku’, a suspected armed robbery gang leader, has, through her lawyers, signalled readiness to assist with investigations.

The IGP explained that immediately after the case was reported, he constituted a special team made up of the Ashanti Regional Commander, the Regional Intelligence Team, the Anti-Robbery Unit, and the Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team of the CID Headquarters to commence investigations.
