‘Cuban Brad Pitt‘ has been released from jail after being detained for allegedly causing a disturbance while drunk at a Florida restaurant.
‘Single Moms Club’ star William Levy, 44, jokingly ran out of Broward County Court after being bonded out on Tuesday and pretended to duck reporters on his way out.
As he walked toward a white pick-up truck, he told reporters he had been trying to break up an argument involving two other men when he was arrested.
‘All of a sudden, he started arguing with another guy to deescalate the situation, and I’m the one who ended up in handcuffs,’ he told reporters, before driving away.
Levy was booked for ‘causing a disturbance’ while ‘highly intoxicated’ at Baires Grill in Weston on Monday, according to an arrest report.
The telenovela star appeared in court for a bail hearing on Tuesday and was released on a $500 bond. He wore ripped denim jeans and a black t-shirt for the appearance.
Police said Levy, whose full name is William Gutiérrez-Levy, ignored several warnings to leave the restaurant from its manager and local cops.

The actor was charged with disorderly intoxication in a public place, causing a disturbance and trespassing.
He was additionally ordered to stay away from the restaurant vicinity.
Levy is a huge star in Latin America and has appeared in several telenovelas alongside Hollywood hits such as ‘Girls Trip’ and ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’.
He also appeared in Jennifer Lopez‘s music video for her single, ‘I’m Into You’. A month later he and wife Elizabeth Gutiérrez announced they had split.
Levy insisted his relationship with Lopez was ‘strictly professional’ and he and Gutiérrez appeared to later reconcile.
