A fresh development has emerged in the ongoing fraud case involving Frederick Kumi, popularly known as Abu Trica, after a viral video allegedly showed his residence marked for investigation.
The video, which has been widely circulated on TikTok, was recorded by a man identified as Baby Lion, who claims to be a neighbour of the embattled figure.
In the clip, the individual filmed the exterior of what is believed to be Abu Trica’s mansion. A prominent red notice fixed on the fence wall of the property quickly drew public attention.
The inscription on the wall read: “Notice! This property is a subject of EOCO investigation,” suggesting that the Economic and Organised Crime Office has officially tagged the property as part of its ongoing probe.
Although EOCO has not released a detailed public statement specifically addressing the mansion in the viral video, such markings are typically used to indicate that a property is under investigation in connection with suspected financial crimes.
The video has triggered widespread reactions online, with many social media users expressing surprise at the development. Some questioned how the situation escalated, while others referenced the luxurious lifestyle previously associated with Abu Trica.
In the caption accompanying the video, the neighbour claimed that the property had been confiscated, a statement that further fueled public discussion.
The development comes at a time when Abu Trica is already facing serious legal challenges, including potential extradition over alleged fraud-related offences.
The emergence of the video has added a new dimension to the case, drawing increased public scrutiny as investigations continue.
