An abroad-based Nigerian woman was astonished by the hefty ₦200 million bill she received for wedding decorations in Nigeria.

In a WhatsApp text, the wedding decorator disclosed that their wedding designs range from ₦200 million above apart from the hall which will be provided by the client.

The estimated amount covers the hall’s aesthetics, dance floor design, luxury chairs, tables, and other designs to enhance the wedding venue.

The jaw-dropping amount has triggered varying reactions online with many requesting the wedding decorator’s identity to confirm the ridiculous amount.

Due to her fiancé being a foreigner, online users speculated that the wedding decorator was greedy and intended to take advantage of them.

While some netizens suggested it was a numerical error, others advised the woman to employ a Nigerian to communicate with an event planner on her behalf.

    See reactions below,

@veeskitchen_ I think the person wanted to say 20m abi is the 200m real real?😳

@Deeplyintobooks Tell someone to text them with a Nigerian number and let the person be communicating with the event planner on your behalf.

@jt_smokes 200 million as how? Are you buying the whole hall along with the decor?

@dangotedike She saw the white man and aimed for the stars 😂😂😂

@Ogo Get yourself a wedding planner and stop contacting vendors directly from the abroad. 200 million 🤣
