Ghanaian entertainment pundit, Mawuli Ekpe Peter, popularly known as Abro, has weighed in on the ongoing debate surrounding Agradaa’s reduced jail sentence.

In a video shared on Instagram on February 10, 2026, Abro expressed disappointment in the judicial system for reducing Agradaa’s 15-year sentence to a one-year jail term.

According to the entertainment pundit, the legal system is often unfair to people who are not close to power in the country.

“I am very pained about Agradaa getting her sentence reduced to one year,” he said.

Citing a past incident, Abro recounted how an individual allegedly spent 10 years in prison for a crime he did not commit.

He claimed the judge presiding over the case sentenced the accused at his residence, stating he had closed work for the day.

“There is an issue I witnessed where someone was arrested and taken to court for trial. In fact, they took the person to the judge’s residence on the excuse that he had closed work. He was jailed for 10 years.

“When we probed further, we found out that his documents could not be traced. The police said they could not find his docket,” he added.
