Antoine Semenyo’s fiancée, Jordeen Buckley, has celebrated his move to Manchester City.

The 26-year-old signed a five-and-a-half year deal to join the English giants from AFC Bournemouth in the 2026 winter transfer window.

His fiancée, whom he proposed to in November 2025, travelled with the player to the Etihad to complete his move.

Semenyo got off to a flying start at Man City, scoring a goal and delivering an assist on his debut as the Manchester club thumped Exeter City 10-1 in the FA Cup.

Celebrating the moment, Jordeen posted: “A new chapter for our lives. So proud of everything you’ve worked for.”

The Ghana international is expected to make his second appearance for City in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Newcastle United on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

City manager Pep Guardiola has also applauded Semenyo after his debut display against Exeter City.

“The impression is what he has done in Bournemouth in many years, he is a nice guy.”

“And he showed in a few actions what he showed at Bournemouth and hopefully he can continue to do it here,” he said in the pre-match presser for Tuesday’s game.
