Ghanaian rapper and performer Dr Pushkin, under Isolirium Entertainment, is set to shine once again at the prestigious South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival in Austin, Texas. After making an impressive debut in 2023, he returns in 2025 as the sole representative from Ghana in the festival’s initial lineup, ready to showcase his unique fusion of Hip-Hop and Afrofusion.

SXSW is an annual global festival that has grown into a 10-day extravaganza of technology, film, television, music, and comedy since its inception in 1987. Held in Austin, Texas, it serves as a launchpad for creatives, offering unmatched opportunities for networking, performance, and exposure. The event has hosted global superstars like Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, and James Blunt, while also celebrating African talent with performances by artistes like Davido, Cassper Nyovest, and Bisa Kdei.

Dr Pushkin’s performance is slated for the International Hip Hop Stage at the iconic Coconut Club on March 12, 2025, in the heart of Austin Downtown. Accompanied by a star-studded lineup of vocalists and instrumentalists, including Quata Budukusu, CJ Biggerman, Ataman Nikita, AZA, Aggie, Wyldthang, and SelectaRah, he promises a mix of acoustic and traditional Hip-Hop vibes that will celebrate global diversity while proudly waving the Ghanaian flag.

If you haven’t already marked your calendar or booked your tickets, now is the time. This performance is set to be an unforgettable experience, blending rich Ghanaian rhythms with a global hip-hop influence.

Dr Pushkin’s return to SXSW follows an exceptional 2024, during which he added multiple hits to his growing discography. Standout tracks include:

    “No Heroes” featuring Lyrical Joe

“Just Watch” featuring CJ Biggerman and Taitan

    “Empty Grave” featuring B-Wayne

“No Go Go” featuring Kojo Cue and Ataman Nikita

    “No Easy” featuring Ging Sen

“Still Here” featuring Strongman Burner and Ataman Nikita among others.

His consistent output and collaborative spirit have cemented his position as one of Ghana’s most innovative and versatile artistes.

From March 10 to 15, 2025, all roads lead to Austin, Texas. Dr Pushkin’s performance promises to be a highlight of the festival, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and talent of Ghana to a global audience.

Get ready to experience the best of Ghanaian Hip-Hop and Afrofusion. Don’t miss out—see you at SXSW!
