Yaa Baby describes her best friend’s public explanation. Yaa Baby had moved to her boyfriend’s home three days earlier. While she was there, her buddy Yaa baby texted her a video while on her way to Mampong.
Soon after, she checked her boyfriend’s WhatsApp story and learned that Kobby Gh had published a video of himself and her girlfriend attending the Mamponhene funeral.
Around 2:00 p.m., she received a call from a police officer claiming to be from Yeji. He asked her if she knew a girl named Yaa Baby, and she said yes. The inspector then informed her that Kobby Gh had accidentally shot her girlfriend, Yaa Baby, in the village they had visited.
Her best buddy keeps repeating that they know her lover has a registered gun, so whenever he enters a public location, he fires a warning shot. She has no idea that her buddy and boyfriend are at conflict, but she does know that her friend is staying at her boyfriend’s place this week.
She hadn’t seen her friend in a week till she found out Yaa Baby had died.
