President John Dramani Mahama has clarified the correct formal name of Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
In a viral video shared on X on November 19, 2025, the President drew attention to what he said was a common mistake in how her name is written.
“Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, and I just want to draw attention. Her name is Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, not Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang. If you want to cut it short, say Naana Jane. But when you write her formal name, it’s Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang. Thank you,” he stated.
