AFCON 2025 Committee launches a national initiative to get all of Morocco excited AFCON 2025 Committee launches a national initiative to get all of Morocco excited

The local organizing committee for AFCON 2025 is rolling out a huge festive initiative across the kingdom to get all Moroccans involved in the great celebration of African soccer.

The program began on November 11 and will run for 30 days, covering Morocco’s 12 regions across more than 60 municipalities.

The first two stages took place in the municipalities of Tahannaout and Boufakrane.

At each stage, the public will be able to attend and participate in soccer matches, participatory games, and special meetings with Moroccan soccer legends.

And because AFCON 2025 is the AFCON of all Moroccans, the Local Organizing Committee has devised a program that creates connections, joy, and moments of celebration throughout Morocco—including in rural and remote areas—through musical and sporting events, participatory games, merchandise stands, soccer matches, freestyle exhibitions, and meetings with Moroccan soccer legends.

The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will be held from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026 in Morocco.
