Ghanaians were left surprised on November 9, 2025, when pictures and videos of a tall Caucasian man dressed in a Superman costume making his way into the Manhiya Palace during the 8th Akwasidae Festival celebrations went viral.

Many wondered who this Superman was and why he was at the palace. Hours later, more details emerged.

The Superman cosplayer was identified as Brazilian lawyer, philanthropist, and content creator Leonardo Muylaert, popularly known as “Tall Clark.”

He became an internet sensation after participating in a Superman costume contest, which he won due to his striking resemblance to the iconic superhero.

Since then, Tall Clark has been touring hospitals and communities dressed as Superman, spreading joy and putting smiles on the faces of children worldwide.

Tall Clark, accompanied by a Ghanaian aide and a woman, visited the palace to pay homage to His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II during the 8th Akwasidae Festival of 2025.

During the visit, he presented a special framed artwork to the King.
