Papa Shee (L) has accused Odo Broni (R) of singlehandedly authorising Lumba's post-mortem Papa Shee (L) has accused Odo Broni (R) of singlehandedly authorising Lumba’s post-mortem

In the wake of controversies surrounding the death of Highlife legend Daddy Lumba, close associate to the family, Papa Shee has alleged that Lumba’s ‘mistress’, Odo Broni, conducted a post-mortem examination on the late musician without the knowledge or consent of his family.

Speaking in an interview on Adom FM, Papa Shee claimed that during a family meeting held after the one-week observation of Lumba’s passing, it was revealed that an autopsy had already been carried out.

According to him, neither the family head, Lumba’s legal wife Akosua Serwaa, nor his elder sister Ernestina Fosuh were aware of the procedure.

Akosua Serwaa and Ernestina Fosuh petition authorities to probe Lumba’s death

“We had a meeting after the one-week observation for Lumba, and that was when it came as a shock to us that the post-mortem had already been done. That was when it was disclosed, and when we asked, the family head didn’t know anything about it. Akosua Serwaa didn’t know, and even Lumba’s sister had no idea.

“It was at that meeting we all found out that the lady who was living with Lumba, Odo Broni, was the one who went ahead with the post-mortem without informing the family or his original wife. Odo Broni was the one who signed for the post-mortem, and her sister stood in as a witness. She has since admitted to it, saying she didn’t know she was supposed to inform the family,” Papa Shee said.

Meanwhile, Akosua Serwaa and Ernestina Fosuh have petitioned Ghanaian and German authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.

In a document dated October 13, 2025, which was signed by the Fosuh family secretary on behalf of Akosua Serwaa and Lumba’s sister, the family expressed concern over what they described as “contradictory statements” about the events leading to the musician’s death.

The document was addressed to the German Embassy in Ghana, Germany’s Federal Criminal Police Office, and Ghana’s Criminal Investigations Department (CID).

According to the family, inconsistencies in Odo Broni’s account have raised doubts and emotional distress among relatives.

They also accused her of negligence during Lumba’s illness and of providing misleading information after his passing.

Moreover, some substances were found in his body, which have been sent to the Standard Board for further investigation. However, we have not yet received the autopsy results, and we may consider conducting another one”-PAPA SHEE#daddylumba #abusuapanin #trendingvideostiktok #odobroni #fyyp ♬ Yemfa Odo – Daddy Lumba
