Police have been called to Anthony Albanese‘s Sydney residence, shortly after he touched down from his trip to the United States.
The Prime Minister arrive at Kirribilli House at around 1pm on Thursday, alongside his dog Toto, wearing a casual ‘Joy Division’ t-shirt.
A man was seen being questioned and searched by two male officers as he stood in front of a fence, before paramedics arrived at the scene.
The man was later transported to hospital in a police vehicle.
A NSW Police spokesperson told Daily Mail: ‘It was a mental health-related incident’.
A spokesperson for Albanese’s office said it was aware of the incident.
‘We are aware and have no comment at this time,’ they said.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s flight home from the United States was forced to divert to St Louis after a Royal Australian Air Force crew member suffered a medical incident.
The plane landed just two hours after departing Washington, and the crew member was taken to hospital.
Albanese later continued his journey, flying on to Honolulu before returning to Sydney.
