    A user on X (Twitter) has shared how he dealt with a fellow bus passenger who was loudly speaking on a phone call using the loudspeaker function.

    In a tweet that gained attention, the user explained that the passenger, seated nearby, began having a phone conversation on speaker.

    Annoyed by the disruption, he decided to respond in an unexpected way.

    He had joined the conversation with full confidence, which left the lady confused, stating that he thought it was a group call when he saw her face.

    The woman appeared embarrassed and quickly ended the call, telling the person on the other end, ‘I’ll call you back.’

    His tweet read;

    “I finally did it: someone was talking on the phone with a loudspeaker sitting close to me while we were inside the bus, so I joined the conversation with full confidence. When she gave me that “are you mad?” look, I said, “Sorry. I thought it was a group call since you put it on the loudspeaker for all of us.” She quietly told the person, “I’ll call you back,” and ended the call immediately.”

    The humorous reaction struck a chord with many users online, who praised the poster for boldly addressing a growing nuisance in public spaces.

    While some commenters called the move ‘petty but deserved,’ others suggested it might encourage people to be more considerate with phone etiquette in public.

    Below are some of the comments;

    “Thank you for doing this. I’ve been wanting to do this for a very long time.”

    “This is on another level, but definitely can’t blame you.”

    “They’ll put it on the loudspeaker and be screaming on top of their voices, very annoying set.”

    “Both sisterhood and brotherhood and all the hood are super proud of you.”
