Ghanaian TikTok sensation and comedian Seguwah Official has reportedly passed away after battling a severe illness.

The heartbreaking news of his death was confirmed by close friends during a TikTok live session on Thursday, October 16, 2025.

Seguwah Official, known for his cross-dressing comedic style and collaborations with popular content creators such as Akonoba, Deaconess Abokomah, and Kumawood actor Nana Yeboah, was a beloved figure in Ghana’s online entertainment space.

His unique sense of humor and vibrant personality earned him a loyal fanbase across social media platforms.

According to one TikToker who claimed to have spoken with Seguwah shortly before his passing, the entertainer revealed that he had been battling a serious illness and was struggling to breathe properly.

During their last phone conversation, he reportedly sounded weak and was said to be relying on an oxygen tank while receiving treatment at the hospital.

The source added that after losing contact with him for several days, they later received the devastating news of his death.

Seguwah was reportedly first admitted in Takoradi, before being transferred to Kasoa and eventually to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, where he is said to have passed away at dawn on Thursday.

The cause of death has not yet been officially disclosed, but fans and colleagues have since flooded social media with emotional tributes, remembering him for his joyful energy, creativity, and ability to make people laugh even in tough times.
