Ghanaian artiste KiDi has said his views on love and relationships are rooted in loyalty and faith, describing himself as a firm believer in monogamy.

Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM, the award-winning artiste stated that he lives by the “one-man, one-woman” principle, a value shaped by his upbringing and his parents’ enduring marriage.

“I grew up watching my mum and dad build something beautiful together. They’ve been together for years, and that has shaped how I see love and family,” he said.

KiDi explained that his belief stems from his Christian faith but clarified that it is a personal conviction rather than a universal standard.

“Muslims are allowed to marry more than one; Christians are not, so I cannot say what’s right or wrong for anyone else. What works for one person might not work for another. For me, as a Christian, I believe one man, one woman is right,” he added.

The “Shut Up” singer stressed that his family background taught him the essence of faithfulness, partnership, and commitment, values he hopes to reflect in his own relationships.
