Undefeated Light Heavyweight Powerhouse Umar Dzambekov, (13-0, 9 KOs), of Los Angeles, CA scored a sensational second round knockout over Artem Brusov, (13-2, 12 KOs), of Fort Lauderdale, FL in the scheduled ten-round main event on Friday night in front of a huge crowd at Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, CA.

Dzambekov vs. Brusov headlined another stellar Hollywood Fight Nights event promoted by Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions and broadcast globally on UFC FIGHT PASS®, the world’s leading digital subscription service for combat sports.

The 27-year-old Dzambekov, trained by Marvin Somodio out of the World-Famous Wild Card Boxing Gym, started fast and aggressively from the opening bell with the tall southpaw stunning Brusov three times in the opening stanza. A huge left uppercut ended the fight as a fallen Brusov’s night was called by referee Thomas Taylor at the end of the second round.

Co-featured on October 3, fast-rising super flyweight Daniel ‘Chucky’ Barrera, (10-1-1 4 KOs), of Eastvale, CA shined in his best performance as a professional with a dominant eight-round decision over veteran ‘Mighty’ Mario Hernandez, (13-7-1, 4 KOs), of Santa Ana, CA. Scores were 80-72, 79-73 and 77-75.

Barrera displayed an excellent skill set with solid counterpunching throughout to keep the oncoming Hernandez off balance throughout the fight. With his huge crowd of supporters cheering him on, the 23-year-old Barrera continued to score through the last round using his full array of precise punches.

Popular Sacramento, CA native ‘Sugar’ Cain Sandoval, (17-0, 15 KOs), stopped Jino ‘The Silent Beast’ Rodrigo, (13-6-2, 11 KOs), of Metro Manila, Philippines in the tenth and final round (2:30) of an all-action outstanding back and forth battle between the two super lightweights. The 23-year-old Sandoval, guided by Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach, ended the clash with a devastating three-punch combination sending Rodrigo to the canvas as the fight was halted.

With the valiant Rodrigo pressuring the action throughout the fight, Sandoval used an array of power punches to consistently force him to retreat throughout the fight. Although sustaining heavy shots, Sandoval never wavered in his own attack leading to the knockout victory. Scores at the time of the stoppage were 88-83 twice and 89-82.

Highly touted female sensation ‘Right Hook’ Roxy Verduzco, (6-0, 1 KOs), of Los Angeles, CA pitched an eight-round shutout against game Mexican veteran Perla ‘La Princesa’ Lomeli,

(7-6, 1KO), in the super bantamweight division over eight rounds. The 23-year-old Verduzco earned the victory by scores of 80-72 twice and 79-73.

Fighting for the first time in the junior featherweight division, the 24-year-old southpaw used a strong skill set throughout the fight to fend off the aggressive Lomeli with effective counter punching to the head and body over the course of the entertaining scrap.

Opening the show, Jonathan Vazquez, (2-0, 1 KO), of Santa Maria, CA dropped Antonio Ferrel, (0-2), of Santa Rosa, CA twice towards a stoppage in the first round of their scheduled four-round featherweight bout.
