Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has hailed the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, after successfully staging his much-anticipated 2025 Rapperholic concert in Kumasi.

The rapper, through his newly titled “Asante Y3 Oman” song, which was released on October 2, 2025, praised the Asantehene and the people of Kumasi for their love.

Sarkodie, in his 3-minute “Asante Y3 Oman” song, shared how he would never forget the love he received from Asanteman, especially how they stood by him despite the heavy downpour during the Rapperholic concert.

One minute into the song, Sarkodie talked about the tears he shed from the pure support, adding that Otumfuo gave him all the backing he could ever wish for.

The “Non-Living Things” singer, however, expressed his heartfelt apology for the unforeseen circumstances that ensued during the concert.

“First of all, I want to give thanks to the almighty God. Asanteman, thank you very much. Sark Nation, I will never forget what you have done for me. I will be back,” he said.
