Aduana Stars earned a hard-fought victory against Nations FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

The Fire Boys left it late to record their first win of the campaign but were made to sweat by a resilient Nations FC side.

Hensen Amponsah climbed off the bench to net Aduana’s first goal of the season in the 86th minute, ensuring his team bagged all three points.

An evenly contested first half ended goalless, but the hosts’ pressure paid off in the second half as they found the net.

Nations will be disappointed they couldn’t hang on to leave Dormaa with a point, given how well they played.

The hosts, however, have given themselves a psychological boost after shaking off their opening-day defeat to Karela United.

The Fire Boys will host Swedru All Blacks in their next match, while Nations will look to bounce back when they host FC Samartex.
