Once you reside in Ghana, you carry a piece of the country with you wherever you go. This sentiment rang true during the lavish wedding celebration of Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola, as reported by Vogue on September 5, 2025.

The multi-continent celebration spanned Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland, but it was a subtle nod to Ghana that captured hearts during the Dubai after-party.

An exclusive Vogue article revealed details of the couple’s glamorous ceremonies, highlighting how Ghana, a country the couple frequently visits, had its moment to shine amidst the fairytale venues and A-list guest list.

According to Vogue, during the after-party of the traditional marriage ceremony at the Otedola family home in Dubai, guests were treated to a popular ginger-flavoured alcoholic mix from Accra.

“Guests were served ginger shots from Republic Bar, the couple’s favorite nightlife spot in Accra, Ghana,” the article stated.

This unique Ghanaian blend, a fiery fusion of ginger and alcohol, quickly became a social media highlight, with many praising the couple for spotlighting Ghanaian culture on such a grand, international stage.

This small yet meaningful inclusion was a testament to the lasting imprint Ghana has left on the couple.

For Mr Eazi and Temi, Ghana isn’t just a destination, it’s a part of who they are.
