Ghanaian musician Moliy has achieved another international milestone as her hit single “Shake It to the Max” was featured in a new global advertisement by fast-food giant Burger King.

The ad, which began airing on September 8, 2025, showcases a group of teenagers sampling iconic meals from different decades, starting from the 1990s through to the 2020s.

In the 2020s segment, Moliy’s infectious track sets the scene, with the actors dancing to its rhythm.

The song has already taken Moliy to some of the world’s biggest stages, including the Telecel Ghana Music Awards and the BET Awards. Its inclusion in a major international brand campaign has further cemented her status as a global artiste.

Social media has since erupted with praise from fans, who described the moment as a huge win for Ghana and African music.

“She is far gone, proper international artiste,” one fan posted.

Another wrote, “This year no track from Africa blew globally past this. The Recording Academy has no excuse.”

Others also called for recognition of the song’s producers, with one user commenting: “The producer or sound engineer deserves recognition! That is a pure master class!”

From Lapaz to the global stage, Moliy’s music continues to resonate with fans worldwide, with many predicting even bigger achievements ahead.
