Actress and media personality Nana Ama McBrown has pledged her full support to the family of the late TikToker, Elvis Frimpong, popularly known as Osanju.
In a live TikTok session shared on social media on September 7, 2025, McBrown, who affectionately referred to Osanju as her “boyfriend,” announced her decision to support the planning and execution of his final funeral rites.
McBrown explained that, as Osanju’s “girlfriend,” she felt personally responsible for giving him a respectful and meaningful send-off.
“This burial rite is centered around me because I am the widow. I haven’t been able to speak to Osanju’s father, but when he (Osanju) was alive, he told me that he didn’t want any flashy or big funeral when he passed on, so I will make sure to give him what his heart desires,” she said.

She also clarified that the purpose of the ceremony is not to host a celebration, but rather to raise funds in support of Osanju’s father, who is facing hardship following the recent loss of his wife.
“This is not a funeral for merry-making. Everyone attending should come with the mindset of supporting the family. Osanju’s father is not financially sound, so no one should expect food or transport money,” she emphasised.
Background
Osanju passed away on September 1, 2025, after a long battle with leukemia, a condition he openly discussed with his followers on social media.
His sudden death shocked the Ghanaian TikTok community, especially since he had appeared active just a day earlier, watching a football match between Barcelona and Rayo Vallecano on August 31.
